About
T
his Weblog is a space for me to share some thoughts, ideas, and feedback from a blog reader's point of view.
I
have been lurking the blogosphere and leaving comments everywhere I go, so it's time I had a place to store all my correspondence and join in the fun!
L
ike many people I'm interested in Weblogs, RSS, Wikis, social bookmarks, etc., so I'll use this site to ask questions and discuss ideas about topics that I think are of general interest.
M
y special interest is in current awareness tools (alert services, monitoring, clipping, newsmastering), also in following blog conversations.
B
y following the blogosphere I feel I have learned so much about my topics of interest (I've learned all these new skills from people that don't even know I exist), although it's so fast paced with new developments everday that it's sometimes hard to absorb. It's truly amazing how fast it is to share and communicate thoughts and ideas via Weblogs and RSS (i.e., quality Weblogs), more than via any other form of scholarly communication or information medium.
T
here are no third parties or authorities, the power has come back to the people.
I
feel once we have perfected, to a certain extent, social networking, information processing, and desktop publishing/blogging that we can move on at large and use this technology to spread constructive discussion about important and universal topics such as our earth, humanity, corporations, government, news media, the environment, etc.
I
t's maybe being overly optimistic to think that Weblogs and RSS can save our planet but they sure can help each and everyone of us to tap into a global knowledge and wisdom pool that otherwise would have been inaccessible to most of us.
S
ometimes you must rise above blame, strife and fear to see the true peace that exists in this moment. Peace is within our reach. Only by envisioning it can we make it so.
H
appy blogging!
