'Happy Holidays' No Threat

A
ll this uproar being fomented by those on the religious right about the "attack on Christmas" is just plain silly. I am not offended by the term "Happy Holidays" nor by a greeting of "Merry Christmas." The term "Happy Holidays" was never any sort of "politically correct" decree by the "secularists." I never even saw it as particularly inclusive of non-Christian faiths' holidays.

T
he term "Happy Holidays" is merely a combined greeting for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Those looking for darker motives in the term "Happy Holidays" are really revealing more about their own desires for a Christian Majority Nation than any evil plot on the part of those less pious than themselves.
